size and fitting guide
Sizing is the number 1 reason for returns. This is how to get it right.
How to Find Your Perfect Fit
1. Set the Stage: Start by wearing the type of socks you intend to wear with your new boots (e.g., thick wool socks). Tape a blank sheet of paper to a hard, flat floor, positioning it so one edge touches a wall. Stand on the paper with your heel pressed firmly against the wall and distribute your weight evenly on both feet.
2. Create Your Outline: With a pen or pencil held vertically (at a 90-degree angle to the floor), trace the outline of your foot. Ensure the pen stays close to your foot without angling underneath it. If reaching down is difficult, ask a friend to help, or simply mark the tip of your longest toe on the paper.
3. Measure for Accuracy: Step off the paper and use a ruler to measure the straight-line distance from the edge of the paper (where your heel was) to the longest toe mark. Repeat this process for your other foot. Since it is common for feet to differ slightly in size, always use the measurements from your larger foot.
4. Select Your Size: Compare your longest measurement against the size guide on the product page.
Top Tip: If your measurement sits right on the border between two sizes, we suggest choosing the larger option. A slightly roomier boot allows for better air circulation and thicker socks, whereas a tight boot can lead to cold feet and discomfort.
